"It is made using window glass that was on its way to a landfill. Windows do not have a recycling program because each pane of glass is very different in makeup from the next pane. You cannot mix pieces together unless they are from the same pane. The clean window glass has colour pigments added to it and then placed in a kiln to be heated together so they become one piece."
